Scheduling Manager (August 2000 to February 2003) Ford Duratec Engine Plant
Renovation in Cleveland, Ohio. Directed the planning, scheduling and
coordination of the Cleveland Engine Plant #1 facility shutdown and
renovation schedule and the new equipment delivery and installation schedule
using Primavera P3 for Ford’s Powertrain Division. Developed a schedule from
the initial project plan with input from all disciplines that was resource
loaded and sequenced to allow for time and space constraints. Project
encompassed over $160 million in construction activities and installation of
$600 million in equipment. Field Support
– Contract Employee (June 2000 – August 2000) - General Motors’ GMT800
shutdown and startup for a product conversion at the facilities located in
Flint, MI. Planned a shutdown with Primavera Project Planner in which 1500
contractor employees replaced nearly the entire truck assembly line and
brought it back into production in 4 weeks. Also assisted
with project planning and scheduling for the GMT560 shutdown and
refurbishment program utilizing Primavera Project Planner at the General
